INDEPENDENT AND RADICAL
NOTHING SUPERFLUOUS.
NOTHING UNNECESSARY.

At Point. À la ligne, each bag follows a calm, deliberate rhythm, shaped by time rather than urgency. A line extends. A volume takes form. Luxury reveals itself in what remains once excess has been removed.
Every detail is intentional. A seam gives structure. A line brings balance. Designed to move with the body, each bag becomes a lifelong companion — present, supportive, never burdensome. We seek permanence rather than trend. Forms that endure. Objects that speak a quiet, precise language.
Point. À la ligne is an independent leather goods house, guided by conviction. Radical in its standards, restrained in its expression, sensitive in its approach. Each piece is conceived as a discreet act of freedom.
All bags are handcrafted in Paris using traditional saddle stitching, executed stitch by stitch. Full-grain Ingrassato leather is chosen for its density, its suppleness, and the way it evolves over time. The palette is deliberately restrained, composed of deep, enduring tones. Materials are selected responsibly, from vegetable tanning to beeswaxed linen thread and water-based dyes.
Each piece requires around twenty hours of work. Nothing is automated. Every edge is finished by hand. Every detail is considered. Produced in limited, numbered series and made to order, each bag carries a rare form of precision.
Point. À la ligne traces its own line — quiet, steady, unmistakable.
A luxury of presence. A luxury of permanence.

I'm Christine.
My name is Christine Chanet.
Before working with leather, I worked with words.
For more than twenty years, I helped international brands shape their voice, their image, and their meaning. Over time, I felt the need to return to something more tangible — a language rooted in gesture, material, and time.
Leather became that language. Dense, honest, and alive, it retains the trace of every hand movement. I learned through practice, repetition, and patience, until I reached the level of precision I was seeking.
Point. À la ligne was born from this encounter. An independent house where craftsmanship meets minimalist design, and where each bag is conceived as a lasting companion. Every piece is handmade in my Paris workshop, with attention, restraint, and conviction.
